Service Description

Part 4 looks at progressing searching, imprinting & line ups. This includes looking at handler skills, line handling, appropriate tasking, clearing a search area, and reading the dog as well as working over distractions. we will also explore scent movement & what factors may have an effect on this. We will begin to imprint your dog onto an odour and build a confident understanding of the odour, looking at how it is presented, odour strengths, contamination, storage of odours. You will be introduced to line ups and their benefits when progressing on your scentwork. These are also part of The National Nosework Associations Odour Recognition Tests
