Service Description
Scent work is an amazing activity to do with your dog with huge benefits. It will tire your dog out, build your relationship, allows them to do an activity they LOVE and you are a part of it! it helps to build confidence in dogs and gives them something to focus on. This 3 hour workshop will start with an introduction to what scent detection is, how your dogs nose works and you will learn exactly how amazing it is. During our scent work workshop we will begin with building your dogs motivation to search, before starting to teach a freeze indication. After completing the workshop you can then join the progressive sessions which may be held in a number of beautiful locations. You and your dogs journey will take you through the wonderful & addictive world of Scent detection. Please note dogs are worked one at a time so while your dog is not working they must be okay to settle in vehicles. As dogs are worked one at a time reactive dogs are welcome! if you are unsure of the suitability please email jo on jobrook@positivelycanine.co.uk prior to booking
