Service Description

Does your dog slouchy sit or skip whilst they run? Perhaps they look a little stiff first thing or tend to lag behind on walks? Or have you noticed an unusual habit that could ‘just be them’? What if that isn’t ‘normal’? What if this was them communicating they’re not 100%? What if there was something you could do to help them? A veterinary physiotherapist specialises in the musculoskeletal system of animals. We work with owners to improve the health and wellbeing of their pets. From educating owners, to physiotherapeutic treatments, to elevating post-operative rehabilitation or fitness, or creating a home plan for achievable and long term health improvements, hopefully reducing future vet fees! Join us to gain a rare and invaluable insight into your dog. Secure a slot for just £5, which may be offset against a physiotherapy appointment with Trudie should you wish to. *Consult only, lasting up to 15mins. No physiotherapy treatments included. Vet-physios are part of the vet-led team. Trudie is a qualified veterinary physiotherapist who set up a mobile vet physio business, Herriot Veterinary Physiotherapy, upon graduating. In 2024, Trudie also then opened AquaPaws Hydrotherapy in Northallerton - the first vet-physio led specialists hydrotherapy centre. Trudie works predominantly with horses and dogs and is equipped to successfully support an array of neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunctions. From improving post-surgery recovery, to supporting osteoarthritic patients to conservative treatment options. Trudie also formulates performance programmes for sporting animals for injury prevention and conditioning.
