About Claire - I have owned Northk9 for 12 years, and co-own scent and track uk with my good friend and colleague Jemma. I’ve been training dogs for almost 20 years and have invested everything into developing my career and my dogs I train and run the largest team of lost dog tracking dogs in the UK and Channel Islands, currently operating with 23 operational dogs across the country, with more coming through my specialist bespoke training programme With my current dog squad, I train and compete at National level in the sport of IGP with Blitz, my Malinios, and we have been selected to represent team GB this year at the FCI world championships making us international competitors 🤩💪🇬🇧 Blitz and I were part of the Northern inter regional obedience team for crufts 2023, gaining 2nd place in our class. 🥳 Mavis is my operational lost dog tracking dog and we have travelled the UK finding missing dogs. ❤️‍🔥 Havoc is my now retired sport dog, we trained and trialled in IGP 😎 My passions are obedience and tracking in all its forms, I adore high drive working dogs and helping channel their drives into something suitable and fulfilling 🤩 Throughout this day Claire will introduce you to Lost Dog tracking - using dogs to track missing dogs - to find out more visit https://scentandtrack.co.uk/scent-track/tracking/ There will be a mix of practical work & theory work, so if you are spectating you will also get a lot out of this day. The day will run from 10am until 4pm. Refreshments available but please do bring lunch. please note dogs are requored to settle in vehicles when not working.
