A bespoke course designed to explore the true nature of your relationship with your dog. We’ll dive deep into the five key "jigsaw pieces" that form a strong, connected partnership, blending theory with practical tools to help you build and grow that bond. Led by Claire Brown of NorthK9 Training this course is ideal for anyone looking to build a relationship with a new dog, or strengthen an existing one. We also take time to explore the emotional connection between humans and their dogs. So, if you're navigating challenges with your dog and want to better understand your own emotional responses along the way, this course is here to support you. About Claire - I have owned Northk9 for 12 years, and co-own scent and track uk with my good friend and colleague Jemma. I’ve been training dogs for almost 20 years and have invested everything into developing my career and my dogs I train and run the largest team of lost dog tracking dogs in the UK and Channel Islands, currently operating with 23 operational dogs across the country, with more coming through my specialist bespoke training programme With my current dog squad, I train and compete at National level in the sport of IGP with Blitz, my Malinios, and we have been selected to represent team GB this year at the FCI world championships making us international competitors Blitz and I were part of the Northern inter regional obedience team for crufts 2023, gaining 2nd place in our class. Mavis is my operational lost dog tracking dog and we have travelled the UK finding missing dogs. Havoc is my now retired sport dog, we trained and trialled in IGP My passions are obedience and tracking in all its forms, I adore high drive working dogs and helping channel their drives into something suitable and fulfilling There are options for booking - Just Theory 10am till 1pm £60 Theory plus a spectaor place 10am till 4pm £90 Theory plus a handler place 10am till 4pm £110 There are 4 handler places availble all of which get half an hour 121 time with Claire & can spectate the other handlers. Please note dogs must be okay settling in vehicles if you wish to spectate the other handlers & we cannot accept dogs that are reactive to humans THIS BOOKING IS FOR THEORY & HANDLER PLACE ONLY. Location TBC but will be Northallerton area. Please note dogs are not required for the theory
